People will often sign up what we would really call a “Customer” as Associates so they can have the wholesale buying privilege. Some may or may not ever refer anyone else to purchase our products.

If you had a traditional business how important are you “Customers” and what would you do to maintain their loyalty to you? An associate who purchases product every month could be worth thousands of dollars in commissions to you over the lifetime of your business. (In our compensation plan developing and maintaining a Bronze Director could be worth as much as $500,000 or more to you over a 10 year period.)

Your entire downline – not just the Associates you personally enrolled are your customers and you have the potential to earn commissions from their monthly purchases. This includes everyone, including the Associates on your larger leg. We earn on all qualified volume and the sales on both your teams or legs is extremely valuable to you.

For your downline Associates who are who could be considered your “Customers” that purchase their product for personal use it is important for us to give EXTRA customer service or something more than company “B” or the store.

Here are some suggestions that can be applied to give us the edge to maintain our downline volume base for years to come:

1. Information – people often forget why they got excited about a product. It is our job to continually give information about our products to confirm to them the benefits that our products have to offer.

2. Reminders – people need the reminders about product specials, product benefits, product features and sometimes just to get their order in each month.

3. Phone Calls – a short simple phone call can speak volumes to show people you care. Repeat a recent story about the benefits of one of the products or mention a new product. Ask the questions. How are you doing? Can I help you with any products?

4. Flyer/Bulletin – dropping a note with a new flyer or bulletin about information that they may be interested in can inspire them to take more product.

5. Emails – this is a great way to reach a lot of people with one message and a easy way to stop and say thank you. Let people know you care.

6. Audio/Video – send something new and interesting that they may be interested in. Quite often the information will increase their usage. Guide them to use our informational site at www.checkoutrbc.com.

7. Conference Calls – let people know about upcoming calls that may interest them or offer to do a 3-way call with someone they would like share our products with.

8. Meetings – home meetings, small area meetings, corporate meetings, product and comp plan trainings, etc. – remember to include your good customers in any open meeting. A meeting group can be just a couple people sitting around the kitchen table.

9. Thank You Cards - people need to know you appreciate them.

10. Support – Ask questions- How can I help you? Let people know you are there to support them and if you don’t have the answer you will find out for them.

Give the EXTRA customer service that will set you apart and create lifetime customers for you!

We are so proud of all the awesome natural ingredients and history of our company that we often fail to get our prospects and customers excited about what the product or marketing plan can do for them.

Always begin with what can the product or plan do for the prospect. Ask questions. Is he or she looking for more income, better health, or maybe a home based business? Always share what are you excited about. People love enthusiasm and passion, they will want what you have.

An example would be: I am so excited about MSM with Microhydrin, it helped to get rid of the constant pain in my hand, it is so healthy for the connective tissues in my skin, it helps to get rid of my aches and pains and it is such an awesome anti-inflammatory that my sinus issues are gone. I did not realize my body needed sulfur. Since I have been taking the product everyone has been commenting on how healthy my skin looks.

We want to offer more than our competition. Share and educate, you do not need to sell. People can close themselves when they see the benefits the product or plan offers.

Then we can talk about the features. An example would be: MSM – is a natural form of the mineral sulfur. People have been using it for years to help support their connective tissues, It has our proprietary blend of Microhydrin in it as a carrier to bring it to the cell membranes. Microhydrin is also known to give us energy, endurance, and help muscle recovery. It will actually help to reduce the lactic acid build up in our muscles. Our company has been in business for over 19 years and offers a money back guarantee. I can show you how to can buy this product at wholesale, which is my cost.

“Do not measure success by today’s harvest. Measure success by the seeds you plant today.
Measure your success not by what you are harvesting in this day, but by the seeds you are planting this day.”
What a great shift. What a great idea and what a great miracle that brings to any of us who will focus on it.

So, go on now. Make today successful. Plant great seeds in your thoughts, actions and words. Go out and plant some RBC Life seeds with someone today! Remember you continue to get paid today for the work you did days, weeks, months, or even years ago. The seeds you plant today may be harvested for years to come.

7 Leadership Lessons

Here are some words of advice about leadership from someone who served on the Board of a 400-member organization for 3 years — the last year as the Board President.

Manage Up, Mentor Down
When you are someone’s manager, team leader or boss, your job is to enable that person to be successful. When your employees are successful, they make you shine. As a manager, it is your responsibility to provide the tools, resources, and direction needed by your employees.

Share Ownership
When employees, customers, and other stakeholders engage in solutions, ownership shifts from the few to all. When everyone owns the organization, everyone feels responsible.

Pay Attention to What Is Shown AND What Is Said
Only 7 percent of verbal communication comes from our words. The rest of it comes from voice inflection and body language. When listening to someone, it is important to listen behind the words so that you can understand what they truly intend to communicate.

Live in Limbo
As a leader, it’s not your responsibility to fix everything. In fact, the less you are personally responsible for fixing, the better off your organization. While you are waiting to match the problem with the people, you will need to sit with the situation without fixing it. Teach others how to fix things by not doing everything for them.

Be an Example
Whatever you expect from your team, you must be willing to exemplify. If you want a team that’s punctual, you have to show up before everyone.

Teach, Don’t Talk
When you tell your team what to do without giving them reason or context, they can follow the instructions and complete the task. However, when they need to do the same thing again, you will need to tell them again. On the other hand, if you provide for them the context for the directions, the next time the situation arises they can execute without your presence.

Praise Publicly, Punish Privately
When you chastise your staff publicly, you are alienating yourself from them and making your job as a leader infinitely difficult. You shine as a leader when you empower and enable every individual on your team to shine

The purpose of a business is to create and keep a customer. All business activities must be focused on this central theme.

You keep customers by delivering on your promises, fulfilling your commitments and continually investing in the quality of your relationships.

If your job is customer satisfaction, your real job title is Problem-Solver.

Offer your customers a long-term relationship, then do everything possible to build and maintain it.

Express your admiration for the traits, possessions or accomplishments of your customer. Little things mean a lot.

There’s an old saying that says, “No wind is favorable to the sailor who has no destination in mind.”

This day you are setting your intention, the lean of your sails. But, if you don’t have a destination in mind, you don’t know how to set the sails to guide the vessel of your own business with RBC Life.

What would you say are the most important things for you to do? What would they be? Set your sail, your intent, by those guideposts.

Each day, you’re the only one who gets to choose your activity. If you don’t choose, no one does. No wind is favorable to the one who doesn’t have a destination in mind. Pick yours.

Example:

To Get to Bronze Director -

1. I need 67 people on left and right team on 150QV Auto Order

2. I will find 3 people who I can share these products with and support to maintain (150 Auto Order) - now I will help my 3 (that is 1 one your support leg and 2 placed on your pay leg, one under the other) with their 3 each. Now repeat what you did with your first 3 and you have over 10,000 QV and 80 associates on your Pay Leg. If we teach this to your upline they have already created the volume on your support leg – doing 50% of the work for you. Just like you will be doing 50% of the work for the 2 people you enrolled in a straight line on your pay leg.

To achieve this:

1. I need to maintain personal QV on auto order of 150

2. I need to learn about the products and success stories

3. I need to be a product of the product

4. I need to work with 3 people to repeat what I am doing. They will bring me their 3 people to help them.

Step 1 – Enrolled with Consumer Choice Pack to try products

Step 2 – Follow-up to assure product success – continue to educate about the product

Step 3 – Confirm 150QV auto order for next month

Step 4 – Share and help them get 3 – teaching them to help their 3 get 3

Step 5 – Repeat 1-3 with their 3

Step 6 – Repeat 1-3 with those.

Is Your Communication Reaching Others?

Better understated than overstated.

Let people be surprised that it was more than you promised and easier than you said.

For effective communication, use brevity.

You cannot speak that which you do not know.

You cannot share that which you do not feel.

You cannot translate that which you do not have.

And you cannot give that which you do not possess.

To give it and to share it, and for it to be effective, you first need to have it.

Good communication starts with good preparation.

The goal of effective communication should be for listeners to say, “Me, too!” versus “So what?”

Learn to express, not impress.

Be brief on the logic and reason portions of your presentation.

There are probably about a thousand facts about an automobile, but you don’t need them all to make a decision. About a half dozen will do.

Effective communication is 20 percent what you know and 80 percent how you feel about what you know.

What is powerful is when what you say is just the tip of the iceberg of what you know.

It’s not the matter you cover, so much as it is the manner in which you cover it.

Take one a day and apply it to your life.

To your Health and Success

Here are a few ways to put Pizzazz into your Presentation:

Eye Communication. As you move about your audience, make direct eye contact with different individuals. Hold that eye contact for four to six seconds. That connection brings intimacy to your presentation and everyone feels your sincerity.

Voice Communication. You want to display a roller coaster of energy. Use a combination of varied pace, pitch and pauses.
Gestures. Novice speakers have a hard time making expansive gestures with their arms or body, and they restrict their movement in the audience. They stand like beanpoles in one spot. When you practice, practice with movement. Here is a challenge. Practice your speech without words. Just practice your body language.

Touch Their Hearts. Our speaking philosophy is simple. If you touch my mind, I will be grateful, but if you touch my heart, I will never forget you. Capture your audience with stories from the human experience: comedy, tragedy, romance, family, friends, living, dying, career success, or career failure. Your audience will always identify with the human experience. You will have touched their hearts. You will have given a powerful presentation.

Introductions with Pizzazz. Get your speech off to a great start by telling a story from the human experience. But other introductions can also be powerful including the following: ask provocative questions, present a startling fact, use relevant quotations.

Conclusions That Leave Them Begging For More. Here is a common mistake made by almost every speaker. At the conclusion of the speech, he/she takes questions. Guaranteed the presentation will end on a flat note. Rather, you should indicate at the beginning of your speech, you will take questions, but then after the questions you will have some closing remarks. These closing remarks will be your opportunity to WOW your audience.

Your conclusions should include at least one of the following:

a) Establish self-esteem. Give them a reason to feel good about themselves.

b) A call for action. Challenge them to achieve an attainable goal.

c) Bridge over troubled water. Be a catalyst of ideas that helps overcome problems, deal with crises, or reach out to others.

d) Involvement in their cause. Encourage them to become involved in their passions: to join, to write, to promote, or to sponsor.

e) Inspire to excellence. Challenge them to achieve peak performance, embark on a noble quest, and be victorious in whatever they do.
